2004 Naughty Sticky is a 50/50 blend of Semillion and Sauvignon Blanc. The grapes are from the Julianna Vineyard in Pope Valley (Napa Valley). A lighter style of dessert wine, Sticky is playful and luscious, packed with tropical fruits and a balanced amount of acid. Pair with fruit desserts and cheeses.
There is a deep gold color which is clear with bright reflections and high viscosity. Honey aromas of apricot, marzipan, nectarine, tangerine. This wine is fragrant with sweet floral notes. So smooth on the palate, hiding the residual sugar well.
Our “sinful second label” as we like to call it at the winery. The Naughty line is meant for having fun, carefree and happy times spent with family and friends. The Inky is the wine you want to open when you dust off your grill and fire it up for the first time this year. Get out the ribs, the brisket, heck even a Beer Can Chicken would love to be paired up with this BBQ red. Dark, almost black as its name implies, this wine’s aromatics entice you with subtle smoke and rich toasted oak characteristics. Big lush black fruits coat the palate followed by sweet tobacco leaf, sage and white pepper. BBQ lovers this is your summer sipper!
This wine was made "just for the fun of it"... blending four varieties together that may not be considered a standard by the "Wine Critics!" 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Zinfandel, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Merlot. This unique blend has complexity with varying layers of ripe, rich fruit backed by peppery spices and hints of cedar. Enjoy and share with only folks you plan on having as friends when this bottle is empty.
