As the first drops hit your glass, a powerful bouquet of black cherry and candied red fruits awakens your senses and gives the first exciting hint of what’s to come from our second vintage of Fifteen Appellations. Selecting just a single ton of Cabernet Sauvignon from a premier vineyard in Calistoga has not only continued the evolution of our story, but also added another valuable layer of complexity and mouthfeel to this silky, yet full-bodied Bordeaux-style blend. With an extended 33-months aging in French Oak barrels, the 2010 Fifteen Appellations can be enjoyed now or given its predominant mountain fruit sources, it will prove a worthy cellar candidate for the next 7-10 years.
From the Annapurna vineyard in Stags Leap District. Our 2010 Merlot is a single-vineyard wine blended with 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and is packed with decadent layers of raspberry, plum and black cherry. You'll enjoy a smooth lingering finish with this lush, juicey, jammy, Merlot.
This beautifully crafted 2011 Persistence is elegant and richly spiced with notes of coco powder, mesquite and rosemary. The underlying notes come through with boysenberry and red currents, supported by a decadent vanilla across the mid palate, this wine has well integrated tannins and a lush mouth feel that leaves a lingering finish of cassis and ripe raspberry.
A very new world style Sauvignon blanc fermented in our giant concrete egg, a hint of neutral oak is what makes ours unique. A light carmelezation from the barrel gives a kiss of vanilla, refreshing and crisp summertime white, with green apple & grapefruit citrus notes ending with a white peach finish.
