Merlot is a dark blue-colored wine grape variety that is used as both a blending grape and for variety specific wines. The name Merlot is thought to be a diminutive of merle, the French name for the blackbird, probably a reference to the color of the grape. From the renowned Annapurna Vineyard, our Merlot, is elegant, restrained, yet vibrant. Aromas of fresh thyme and cedar with flavors of black raspberries and bitter chocolate lead your palate on a journey. Don’t feel shy about taking this bottle into your favorite steakhouse, we promise it will hold up to that Rib-eye steak just as well and maybe even better than a Cabernet.

Pinot Noir is widely considered to produce some of the finest wines in the world, but is a difficult variety to cultivate and transform into wine. Again we are sourcing our fruit from the Corrotto Vineyard in the Carneros District of the Napa Valley, because honestly, that’s where it grows best! We also produce a Russian River Pinot Noir that is extremely delicious but definitely different than it’s cousin in Carneros. If you’re just getting into reds or like reds a little bit on the lighter, more elegant side than Pinot Noir is the perfect starting point for you.
