Creamy caramel to start with a touch of ripe pear. Will bring to mind well balanced tropical fruits and a slight touch of tangerine that finishes with smooth caramel and mouth watering citrus. Our non-malolactic fermentation style Chardonnay is very food friendly, and a great refresher for those warm days.
Vineyard: Corroto & Esterkyn Vineyard
The Chardonnay is whole berry pressed and then cold soaked for 24 hours. A non malolactic fermentation follows in stainless steel, then cold settled and aged off the lees. Barrel aged in 20% new Oak, 80% Neutral oak to promote mouth feel and texture, this will maintain the bright fruit flavors and aromas characteristic of these vineyards.
